The Best Performers Have the Very Best Smiles

Your family has some really fun news to share. Two of your four children will be in Michigan this summer.

Your oldest daughter will be performing on the cast of a local Michigan Dinner Theatre, an honor she has worked her whole career for! You are very proud of your girl and can recall all of the sacrifices that she has made to get to this point. She is also working Reception, so if you any of your friends and family need help with tickets, she is the go to person for that as well. The shows run June through August, and you and your husband are both hoping that you get to take in several of the performances.

Your youngest son will be in his first tour with a group that will be traveling throughout the midwest this summer, using Michigan as a home base. Fortunately, he will have at least two performances that are close to your home so there will be lots of friends and family members attending those.

Some Families Are Not New to Travel

Your family’s recent trip to Southern California was great. You were able to see two performances of the group that both of your children perform in during the school year. You are grateful for the other parents who captured a few sneaky pictures when you were not able to be there, but when you did travel west the weather was mostly nice. The nice weather, however, did not compare with the warmth you felt seeing your boy doing so well at college. That was simply the the best. When two of your four children are focused on theater careers, the travel can be pretty rigorous, but knowing that they are getting experience on stage, behind the stage, and in the front office makes all of the work and sacrifices worthwhile.

Living a Life on the Stage Requires Careful Attention to Many Details

from voice training to practicing stage presence, it is important to realize that there are many different kinds of skills that are needed to be a performer. Amid all the necessary training, however, there is also the need for the careful attention to how you look. And of all the ways that you can make a great first impression when you are on the stage, few are as important as your smile. For this reason, it is imperative that you get the right dental care so that you can have the best possible smile.

From the very first childrens dentists to the orthodonture work that might be required at a later age, it is important that you help your children establish the best dental practices that will help them succeed in their lives. Especially if they are going to have a career on the stage, it is important to practice the best dental hygiene so you can avoid tooth decay and other unsightly problems. The fact of the matter is tooth decay is not only a problem when it comes to how you look. It is also important to how you feel. In fact, there is an increasingly amount of research that indicates that doctors and dentists can work together to check for tooth decay and other signs that might indicate even more serious health conditions.

Consider some of these facts and figures about tooth decay, cosmetic dentistry, and the other important services that are important to the lives we live today:

  • As dental professionals have gained training in the proper ways to employ and monitor pediatric dental sedation, this is a practice that is becoming more widespread, with as many as 250,000 pediatric dental sedations performed each year.
  • Unfortunately, many studies show that a habit of young people can cause significant tooth decay, as well as other problems. As much as sports drinks are harmful to teeth, researchers found exposure to energy drinks resulted in twice as much enamel loss as exposure to sports drinks, a difference of 3.1% to 1.5%.
  • One 2012 Journal of Pediatric Dentistry study found that more than 65% of parents using bottled water did not know what levels of fluoride it contained.
  • More than 98% of people admit that how you look determines the first impression that you will make. This is especially true when it comes to having a great smile.
